Privacy and Cookie Policy
What personal data is handled when you visit this website or ask us for a quote, why, and how to exercise your rights under Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP).
Last updated:
In short
- The website has no user accounts, no payments, and no forms that send data to a server.
- The quote form composes a message in your browser; you decide whether to send it via WhatsApp or from your email.
- Google Analytics only runs if you accept it, and you can withdraw your consent whenever you like.
Data controller
The controller of the personal data described here is EverGrace Export:
- Trade name
- EverGrace Export
- Legal name
- BARRERA EVERGRACE S.A.
- Tax ID (RUC)
- 1793243361001
- Registered address
- Quito, Ecuador
- +593 95 980 3388
When you ask us for a quote
The quote form does not send anything on its own: from what you type (the products, quantity, destination country, and packaging, all optional) it composes a message in your browser and opens WhatsApp or your email app with that message. The website does not store what you type.
If you send it, EverGrace Export receives the message and whatever your app shares: on WhatsApp, your phone number and profile name; by email, your address and the name you have set up. We use them only to reply to you, prepare the quote, and, if we reach an agreement, manage the business relationship. Without contact details we could not reply to you.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (LOPDP, art. 7, item 5).
WhatsApp, a Meta service, handles messages according to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. Emails reach a Gmail account, a Google service, which handles them according to Google's Privacy Policy.
When you visit the website
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, in its logs. It does so on behalf of EverGrace Export, according to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Legal basis: the legitimate interest of EverGrace Export in keeping the website working and secure (LOPDP, art. 7, item 8).
Apart from Google Analytics, if you accept it, the website does not load fonts, maps, videos, or any other third-party resources.
Google Analytics, only if you accept it
If you accept analytics, the website loads Google Analytics 4, by Google LLC, to measure how many people visit it, which pages they view, what type of device they use, their approximate country or city, where they come from, how many tap our WhatsApp or email, and how many request a quote, with the channel chosen and the products. We do not send Google what you type in the quote form or your contact details. We use these figures in aggregate, to improve the website, not for advertising.
Until you accept, the website does not load Google Analytics, set its cookies, or send any data to Google. According to Google, Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
Legal basis: your consent (LOPDP, art. 7, item 1). You can withdraw it at any time from the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page, or by clearing this website's data in your browser. If you withdraw it, the website deletes the Google Analytics cookies and stops loading it; withdrawing it does not affect what was measured before.
Google keeps the data of each visit, at the event and user level, for 2 months and then deletes it; the aggregated figures in its reports are not subject to that period. It processes the data on servers that may be outside Ecuador, including in the United States. By accepting analytics, you consent to that international transfer. More information in Google's Privacy Policy.
Who else handles your data
For what is described here, these providers are involved, each for its own part: Cloudflare (website hosting), Meta (WhatsApp), and Google (Gmail and, if you accept it, Google Analytics). They process the data on their own servers, which may be outside Ecuador.
How long data is kept
Quote messages are kept as long as needed to reply to you and, if there is a business relationship, for as long as it lasts and for the periods required by law. Cloudflare's technical logs are kept according to its own periods, and Google Analytics event-level and user-level data for 2 months (the aggregated figures in its reports are not subject to that period).
Your rights
Under the LOPDP, you can ask us, free of charge and at any time, for:
- Access: to know what data about you we handle and to get a copy.
- Rectification and updating: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: to delete your data, for example when it is no longer needed or when you withdraw your consent.
- Objection: to stop handling it, in the cases provided by law.
- Portability: to receive it in a structured, commonly used format, or to have it passed to another controller.
- Suspension of processing: to pause it while an issue is resolved, for example if you dispute its accuracy.
- Not to be subject to automated decisions: we make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
